Commercial Aerospace

As recently noted in many publications including the Economist, the middle-class is rapidly expanding across the globe. Across all countries, this population is demanding greater access to travel and leisure activities. Boeing and Airbus both predict that the increased demand on travel will cause a dramatic increase in the number of aircraft in service over the next twenty years.

In addition to the growth in the overall size of commercial air fleets, the high cost of jet fuel is also driving new aircraft orders. Currently, jet fuel is the largest single cost for most major airlines. More fuel-efficient models are steadily replacing older, less efficient planes.
